West Shore Transformation

This recently completed project incapsulates the heart and soul of Tahoe. Starting with a blank canvas of an empty lot we edited and added a mix of amenities for an active family who loves to gather and celebrate together. From areas for outdoor activities and games to quiet nights around the ultra-easy yet natural looking gas log fire, this landscape provides a comprehensive mix of gardeners delight and family fun. We provided a park like setting that is the envy of the neighborhood for this family’s generations to enjoy.

Restaurant Project Update

Grand Fare Market is alive with activity in Oakland! This bustling outdoor eatery is ensconced in lovely details. There is new outdoor accent lighting, fire pits for evening ambiance and beautiful plants that together create a lovely oasis. The paving has been revamped and new tree wells with up lights allow for a steady stream of visitors.

New Restaurant Project in Oakland

We are breaking ground this week on the re-opening of Grand Fare Restaurant in Oakland. I was called to remedy a bad installation by a wayward contractor who didn’t follow the previous Landscape Architect’s plans. Now we are replacing all the DG paving because it was sinking and didn’t drain. The new paving will be solid, stabilized and hold up to high traffic, weather and drain quickly. Ambiance will be added with three new fire pits, one brick and two cor-ten steel to match the planters as well as up-lighting on trees and a hard lid canopy for outdoor dining in inclement weather.

Scheduled finish is two weeks. Opening in June! Will post “after”pics soon.
