We are breaking ground this week on the re-opening of Grand Fare Restaurant in Oakland. I was called to remedy a bad installation by a wayward contractor who didn’t follow the previous Landscape Architect’s plans. Now we are replacing all the DG paving because it was sinking and didn’t drain. The new paving will be solid, stabilized and hold up to high traffic, weather and drain quickly. Ambiance will be added with three new fire pits, one brick and two cor-ten steel to match the planters as well as up-lighting on trees and a hard lid canopy for outdoor dining in inclement weather.
Scheduled finish is two weeks. Opening in June! Will post “after”pics soon.
